Decisions of Council

The Decisions of Council phase of the District Plan review is when we make a decision on the proposed plan, plan change or variation based on the recommendations provided by the hearing panel and from the submissions provided by the community.

On this page you will find the reports from the Independent Hearing Panel as well as information relating to the chapters which have been ratified by Full Council following the hearings phase.

Decisions on the Variation to Chapter 11 Large Lot Residential and Chapter 27 Subdivision & Development & Stage 3b Walter Peak Zoning of the PDP

Recommendations from the Independent Hearing Panel on the Variation to Chapter 11 Large Lot Residential and Chapter 27 Subdivision & Development  and the Stage 3b Walter Peak Zoning were ratified by Full Council as a Council Decision on 16 September 2021.


Appeals

The appeal and section 274 periods on the decisions on the variation to Chapters 11 and 27 or Stage 3b Walter Peak Zoning have closed.
