Arrowtown Memorial Pool opens for the 2024-2025 season on Saturday 30 November until Sunday 2 March 2025!
Get your season pass now! It gets you unlimited access to Arrowtown Memorial Pool for the summer season.
Normal seasonal opening hours are Monday-Sunday, 11.00am-6.00pm.
Early closing at 5.00pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
To help plan your visit, you can view pool lane bookings to make sure there's a lane available for you.

Arrowtown Memorial Pool will open for the 24/25 summer season on Saturday 30 November! The season will end on 2 March 2025.
NB Opening hours for our various facilities are subject to change. This can be for pre-arranged maintenance and event bookings or occasionally for reasons beyond our control. In all cases we do our best to publicise changes in advance or as quickly as possible.
For up to the minute news on closures or cancellations follow QLDC Sport & Recreation on Facebook. If you are making a special trip it is always worth giving Arrowtown Memorial Pool a call on (03) 442 0145 before you set out.

If you're not already a member, then simply follow the below link to purchase a season pass and create a member account!
Please Note: An Arrowtown Memorial Pool swim membership doesn't include free use of other Queenstown Lakes District Council swimming facilities. However, in the event that Arrowtown pool is closed due to bad weather, Arrowtown memberships will be accepted at Alpine Aqualand (Queenstown Events Centre). Keep an eye one our Facebook Page for the latest updates.

Senior/Beneficiary: 65+ years with ID or holders of a Super Gold or Community Services Card

Family memberships: One or more dependent children living with one or two responsible adults (i.e. parents and/or caregivers) at the same address; QLDC reserves the right to request proof of address and other qualifying documents at time of purchase.

Main Outdoor Pool
Our main pool is 29 metres long, has five lanes and ranges in depth from 0.9m to 1.8m. The water is heated by an LPG boiler. We aim to have at least two lanes available for public lap swimming during our operating hours.
Toddler Pool
Our outdoor toddler pool is 5m x 5m and 0.5m deep, with a target water temperature of 27°C.
Snack Shop & Picnic Area
A small selection of drinks, snacks, sweets and ice-creams are available at our snack shop. We have a large grass area and a covered picnic area with tables and chairs available.
Change Rooms
Separate male and female change areas are available, including a baby change table, toilets and heated showers. For security reasons we recommend leaving your valuables at home where possible.
Lost Property
Any items left behind or handed into our staff will be kept in lost property as follows:

Valuables - handed to NZ Police after 24 hours

Toiletries - kept for one week and then thrown out

Clothing - kept for one month and then given to a local charity shop

Socks/Underwear - thrown out at the end of the day.
