An emergency water shutdown is affecting properties along Frankton Road, between Larch Hill and Marina Drive, while contractors are working to fix a burst water main on Frankton Road. Check out our Facebook Page for updates on when the water may be restored.

The boil water that was in place for businesses and properties across Queenstown following a number of confirmed local cases of illness caused by the protozoa, cryptosporidium, has now been lifted as of 8 December 2023.

Queenstown Lakes Wellbeing Dashboard

This dashboard has been made available to the public to bring together local wellbeing insights from a range of data sources. The dashboard is like a ‘fact file’ that can be consulted by anyone looking to inform decision-making that supports positive community wellbeing outcomes.

While the dashboard has been designed to incorporate the four aspects of wellbeing (social, economic, environmental and cultural), it is structured around QLDC’s Vision Beyond 2050 eight vision statements and supporting definitions of what ‘good’ wellbeing could look like for each of these.

Wellbeing Dashboard Feedback

As the first version, we would like to hear from organisations, businesses and individuals about how useful it is and what can be done to improve it. The data will be updated quarterly and Council welcomes feedback over the coming year, which will inform next steps for the dashboard.
