An emergency water shutdown is affecting properties along Frankton Road, between Larch Hill and Marina Drive, while contractors are working to fix a burst water main on Frankton Road. Check out our Facebook Page for updates on when the water may be restored.

The boil water that was in place for businesses and properties across Queenstown following a number of confirmed local cases of illness caused by the protozoa, cryptosporidium, has now been lifted as of 8 December 2023.

The District Plan review began in 2015. The Proposed District Plan (PDP) sets out to provide a more accessible and transparent plan that provides more certainty to property owners and a clear strategic direction for the district as well as additional scope for intensification in suitable locations.
