You & Me ante-natal fitness

Our 'You & Me' ante-natal aqua fitness programmes run at both Alpine Aqualand (Queenstown Events Centre) and Wānaka Recreation Centre with slightly different formats.

Keeping active during pregnancy is important, for you and for your unborn child; it helps to relieve stress, reduce anxiety and release endorphins. But the key is knowing how to exercise safely. That's where we can help.

'You & Me' is our fitness programme designed exclusively for expectant mums. Set in a fun, relaxed and supportive group environment, it's a great opportunity to workout in the water while socialising with others. The sessions are led by our experienced coaches.

Numbers are limited so please ask your fellow mums-to-be to sign up early if you want them to come along too!

  • You & Me classes at  Queenstown Events Centre begin again on 27 July.

You can now join us twice a week for one pool-based session and a new Pilates-style class in the group fitness studio:

    • Tuesdays 6.45-7.00pm in the pool with Brooke

    • Fridays 4.45-5.30pm in the studio with Aimee.

Each term is normally divided into two five-week blocks. Full payment for each block is required in advance to secure your place:

    • Members - $80 for ten classes (two per week)

    • Non-members - $100 for ten classes (two per week).

To sign up please drop by reception or contact the aquatic programmes team:

  • Casual weekly sessions run Tuesday evenings from 7.30-8.15pm in the lap pool.

$5.00 per session plus normal pool entry (i.e. included if you're already a pool member). No regular commitment is required but advanced booking each week is recommended as spaces are limited.
