Leisurelys
Safe and effective exercise for the young at heart. The Leisurelys programme has recently won awards in the Senior Support Category at the 2024 Spirit of the Wakatipu and the 2023 Exercise New Zealand awards!
About the Leisurelys
Offering safe, enjoyable exercise for seniors in our community, the Leisurelys programme based at Queenstown Events Centre will lead you to improved physical fitness, strength, flexibility and balance.
Enhance your independence and get more out of your everyday living and recreation. But don't take our word for it, hear it straight from Bruce one of our superstars!
Induction
Before joining our Leisurelys classes, an instructor will have a one-on-one session with you. They’ll speak to you about your health, goals and show you around the facilities. You’ll also receive class recommendations!
Classes
Our classes are designed specifically for you and include Pilates, balance, AquaFit, RPM (spin bikes), stretch, yoga stretch, strength and gym sessions.
Important notice - The Leisurelys programme will break over Christmas from 22 December. The classes will resume (with the new timetable below) on 5 January.
Click here or below to view/download a class timetable.

-
Casual entry will be $8.20
-
The 10 visit pass will be $57
-
The 3 month pre-paid option will be $150
-

Approved Strength and Balance Classes
Some of our Leisurelys classes have been recognized by Well South as approved strength and balance classes to reduce falls and fractures in older people under the Live Stronger for Longer programme.

- Strength – Wednesday 12.45pm
- Pilates – Wednesday 1.30pm
