Climb
Pikika
Whatever skill level you're at, you're welcome to come along to the Rockatipu indoor wall located at Queenstown Events Centre.
Book your session online
-
We're open from 6.00am-9.00pm Monday - Friday and 8.00am-8.00pm on weekends.
Belay license holders are able to climb at any time around kids' after-school sessions but must still book ahead during peak times.
Bookable sessions are live on our website with two-hour slots available.
We have two types of sessions available:
-
Licence holder - for those with a Rockatipu Climbing Wall belay licence
-
Non-licence holder - an instructor must be present for those with no belay licence to climb
*No kids classes during the school holidays.
Our instructors are onsite from 12.00-9.00pm weekdays, ready to welcome climbers of all levels. If you don't currently have a belay license for the wall then come along during these instructor hours for an assessment, or just for a casual drop-in session.
Make a booking
Spaces on the wall are limited. To secure your space once the wall reopens, please make a booking online.
Your booking is only confirmed once you have received a response from a member of our team. Bookings can be made for up to two hours and for a maximum of two people each.
Climbing wall closures
Occasionally we need to close the wall for events in the main indoor stadium. Please call ahead if you're making a special journey.
You can check out the 'closures and cancellations' section of our website here or, for the very latest info, check out our Facebook page and Rockatipu Climbing Wall public Facebook group.
